Minimum amount to open is $1,000 except for the 275 day Special Certificate. Substantial penalty for early withdrawal. Interest on certificates terms of less than one year is compounded at maturity. Interest on certificates terms of one year and longer is compounded annually. Customers may elect to receive an interest check or interest transfer quarterly or more frequently. When the customer elects to receive an interest check or interest transfer, interest is not compounded. Certificates automatically renew.
